Scuba & Deep-Sea Diving
The popularity of Scuba and deep-sea diving has increased over the past few years. The presence of many underwater archaeological sites, sunken ships has turned the area of La Manga and Cabo de Palos into one of the most popular spots for divers from all over Spain. Diving clubs and schools exist both at Cabo de Palos and in La Manga organising courses throughout the year with daily trips by boat, offering equipment to rent for the newcomers.

Kite Surfing
If you’re looking for a new water sport, then you should think about trying kitesurfing. It's an interesting blend of surfing, water skiing and kite flying that will definitely challenge you to learn new skills. This is also a great sport if you want to try something new, or if you’re trying to set yourself apart from the other people on the water.
Wind Surfing
The Mar Menor enjoys ideal conditions with steady trade winds & warm water temperatures for windsurfing, an ideal location with plenty of windsurfing schools.
Just remember windsurfing is fantastic out on the Mar Menor.

Are you looking for a great walking holiday in a beautiful setting? Spain's Costa Calida is a walking destination to rival the best in Europe. A warm climate, fresh air, great scenery and a relaxed lifestyle make it the ideal place to get away to.
Horse Riding
La Manga is an ideal location for all standards of horseriders.
There are a variety of Andalucian and French horses and even
Shetland ponies for the children.
Set in the Murcian hills and surrounded by beautiful lemon groves, the La Manga Equestrian Centre offers a variety of daily treks along the beach or through the picturesque Spanish countryside.
Skiing
Many people only associate Spain with sand and sun and are
surprised to find that Spain also offers a wide range of winter
sports. Spain's number one location for winter sports, the
Sierra Nevada is located just two hours away from Murcia.
It has the best snow and the longest season in the country.
You can look forward to five months of snow. Sierra Nevada
has 61km of ski slopes with 45 pistes and 6 off-piste routes.
There are 2 cable cars, 12 chair lifts and 5 ski lifts. The
ski resort is open from 9am to 5pm although you can ski at
night, weekends and bank holidays. Night skiing was introduced
in 1994 with lighting along the El Rio slope (3km/545 vertical
drop).
If you have never been to Sierra Nevada because you haven't
got the essential gear, then that's no longer a valid excuse
for everything you need can be hired on a daily basis. Also,
there is no shortage of schools that will assist everyone
from beginners to experts.
